died Monday, April 19 at the Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. Ralph was born November 26, 1929 in Highland Park, MI, the son of Ralph Loren and Theresa M. (Brandt) Bell. Ralph lived in Pittsfield, IL as a child. He moved to Three Rivers, MI in 1941 and graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1948. On September 22, 1951 Ralph married Joan Mae Linsner, who preceded him in death. They moved to Allegan in 1954 where Ralph worked at Town Talk gas station and Linsner Dry Cleaners. He also worked at Rockwell International for over 27 years. He was a member of the Allegan United Methodist Church and the Trowbridge United Methodist Church, which he helped build. Ralph was also a member of the National Guard. Surviving are 4 children, Thomas Bell and Sarah Krickow of Allegan, Steven and Rose Bell of Allegan, Kathy and Jim Stewart of Otsego, and David Bell of Allegan; 8 grand children, Miranda and Jon Lyon, David and Ashley Bell, Amanda Bell, Katie Bell, Megan and Mike Dokter, Jason Stewart, Aaron Stewart and Bryan Bell; 4 great grand children, Jeremy and Theresa Bell, Kirsten and Brandon Casey, 1 brother, Richard Bell of AL; several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends John and Marie Ryckman. He was preceded in death by his grandson Bojo, and his brother George. Friends may meet with the family on Thursday from 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 am at Trowbridge United Methodist Church, Pastor Tony Shumaker will officiate. Interment at the Church cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Trowbridge United Methodist Church.
