Marie Damber, 76, of Allegan, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Born January 6, 1945 in Allegan, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Thelma (Burke) Morris and the wife of James W. Damber. Marie spent over 17 years working for the Perrigo Company as a Line Leader and in the Quality Assurance area, but she mainly enjoyed being a homemaker and providing for her family. Leisure time would find Marie reading a good book, playing on the computer, working on puzzles or watching her reality shows, as well as going to auctions or garage sales. In her younger days, one would find her dancing at The Note in Gun Lake. As her children got older, Marie felt blessed to become a grandma and thoroughly loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Times with her family meant the world to Marie and her love and caring ways will be greatly missed by all of them. Marie is survived by her husband, James; her four children, Steven (Juli) Revor, Suzan Revor, Jimmy (Carmen) Damber and Wayne (Sandi) Savage; her five siblings, Earl Morris, Ronald Morris, Alma VanHorn, Janis Rouse and Susan Goldsmith; and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia VanHorn. A graveside service will be held at Lindsley Cemetery (Cheshire Township) on Monday, May 10, 2021 at 1:00 PM.
