South Carolina, formerly of Allegan, died Sunday, December 27, 2009 in South Carolina. Mrs. Palmer was born April 24, 1922 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Curtis and Florence (Bond) Condon. She had been a secretary at Perrigo for more than 40 years and was a past member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd. She moved to South Carolina 10 years ago, to be close to family. Surviving are 1 son and his wife, Brad and Pauline Palmer of South Carolina; 1 granddaughter, Amanda; 2 sisters, Mary Jo Cook of Allegan and Sharon and Pete Beardsley of California; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray. Friends may meet with the family from 10 a.m. Saturday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday. Fr. William Whiting officiating.
