Phyllis J. DeGlopper, Dorr, died Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at Metropolitan Hospital in Grand Rapids. Mrs. DeGlopper was born December 4, 1934 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Louis & Mary (Kenny) LaBelle. Phyllis graduated from Grand Rapids Catholic Central in 1953. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Phyllis worked as an Assessor for the city of Allegan, as well as for Hopkins & Wayland Twp's. for several years. Surviving are 5 children; Rosilynne & Richard Nicholson of Dorr, Robert & Denise of CA, Thomas & Evageline of Dorr, Michael of Zeeland and Scott & Donna of Allegan, 21 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1 step brother, Billy & Lynne Anderson of Rockford, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her son, Dennis and her step sister, Betty Powell. Friends may meet with the family on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 am at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Dorr. Rev. Fr. Robert Johansen Celebrant. Interment Maplewood Cemetery, Hopkins Twp. Memorials may be made to the Catholic Church.
