Phyllis Marie Castaneda, 56, of Franklin, KY and formerly of Allegan, MI passed away Friday February 1, 2019 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. Born November 18, 1962 in Holland, MI, she was the daughter of the late Beverly Jane Pharo. Phyllis possessed a kindhearted, generous spirit and was always putting the needs of others before her own. Whether she was at the flea market, the antiques booth or around a game of cards she was happiest when she was surrounded by friends and family. Phyllis did not believe that anyone was a stranger, only a friend that she hadn't yet met. Though she possessed the gift of gab, she never got caught up in gossip or negative conversation. Phyllis truly loved to help others in any way that she could, even if it meant she went without. Her door was always open and her heart always full of love to share.
Phyllis is survived by her life partner Tony Ard, two daughters, Beverly Hitchcock (Chad) and Mable Mills (Rodney), two sons, James Boylan and Jason Boylan, her uncle Donald Case (Sandy), fourteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her companion of thirty-one years, Orville Boylan; and two grandchildren, Leigh Hitchcock and Betty Mills.
A celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date.
