Phyllis J. Bergh, 73 of Allegan died Saturday, July 16, 2005 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. Mrs. Bergh was born September 25, 1931 in Plainwell, MI the daughter of Ted and Beatrice (Stough) Hillman. She loved bingo and enjoyed playing golf, crocheting and knitting. She had been a member of the Eagles. Surviving are 3 children, Roberta (Bobbi) and Shawn Weaver of Allegan, Rick & Laurie Bergh of Huntsville, AL, Roxann Layton of Allegan; 5 grandchildren, Scott, Shannon, and Tonya Foster, Robert and Michelle Layton; 8 great grandchildren; 4 brothers, Ted & Judy Hillman of Allegan, Rodney Stough of Allegan, Donnie & Lorraine Stough of Zeeland, and Mike & Cindy Stough of Plainwell; 2 sisters, Nora Jean Dodsworth of Martin and Carolyn Wright of Otsego; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved pet dog, Toby. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; 1 sister, Dawn Stough. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held Tuesday 11:00 am at Merson Church. Pastor Gail A.
