of Hopkins, died at her home surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, October 15, 2014. Mrs. Hall was born, May 6, 1933, in Dorr, the daughter of Peter and Angeline (Marks) Stevens. Phoebe was a member of the Salem Indian Mission. She had worked for over 43 years at the Allegan General Hospital as a surgical Tech and a LPN. She was a member of the Pokagon Band of the Ottawa and Potawatomi Tribe. Surviving are her 3 children: Jennifer and Dennis Taylor, Stephanie Hall, Kevin Hall; 5 grandchildren: Melodie, Tracy, Joe and Jennifer Hall, Laura, Brenda; 8 great grandchildren: Jaden, Abby, Grace, Alex, Nickalye, Savannah, Julian, Elijah; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her son: David; her granddaughter: Sarah; her 3 brothers: Andrew, Joe, Bob; 4 sisters: Laura, Mary, Jennie and Lucy. Friends may meet with the family on Saturday, October 18, 2014, from 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 1 pm at JiJak Gun Lake Tribe, 2558 20th St., Hopkins, where there will be a visitation from 11 am till service time at 1 pm. Pastors Nancy Bolens and Sandra VandenBrink will officiate. Private interment will take place on Monday at Salem Twp. Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Phoebe's family, C/O Kevin Hall.
