of Allegan, died Sunday, April 14, 2013, at his home surrounded by his family. Pete was born October 1, 1952, in Kalamazoo, the son of the late Leon and Thelma (Bussey) Kaylor. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, and had worked as a civil engineer since the early 1980's. Most recently Pete drove a School bus for the Allegan Public Schools, a job Pete loved, he enjoyed the kids and his fellow co workers. But his true love, was his family, they enjoyed life's simple pleasures, long car rides, picnic's, music, and just time spent together. Surviving are his wife, Debbi, whom he married July 8, 1972, 4 children; Jake and Tasha Kaylor, Petra and Troy Morey, Crissy Kaylor, Julie and Nic Peters, 4 grandchildren; Luke, Lucy, Caleb, and Madeline, 2 brothers; Ken Kaylor, and Neil and Tanya Kaylor, 2 sisters; June Nielsen, and Sandy and Mark Pitney, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Pete was preceded in death by his 2 sisters; Linda Watson and Nicky Leverich. Friends may meet with the family on Thursday, April 18, from 5-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where the funeral service will be held on Friday at 10 am. Pastor Barry Lucas will officiate. Interment at Lindsley Cemetery, Cheshire Twp. Memorials may be made to Pete's Family care of his wife, Debbi.
