Peggy Sue Weaver, 84, of Allegan, MI passed away Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Rose Arbor Hospice. Born January 25, 1937 in Allegan, she was the daughter of the late Edwin "Ted" and Margaret (Mapes) Dailey and was the wife of the late Donald J. Weaver. Mrs. Weaver had attended Trowbridge United Methodist Church. Throughout her life she had worked for a variety of employers including Harding's and Ames. Mrs. Weaver enjoyed the time she had spent as a mystery shopper as well as working in the school kitchen interacting with the children. In her spare time, Mrs. Weaver loved to spend time outdoors tending to her garden.
She is survived by her son, Randy (Rebecca) Weaver; son-in-law, Carl Frazee and his family; one nephew; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Along with her parents and her husband, Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheryl Frazee; brother, Robert (Jean) Dailey; and her beloved companion and best cat in the whole world, Mac.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to all her friends for their dedicated friendship over the years as well as the phone calls, cards and compassion shown during this time.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. A funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow in Hudson Corners Cemetery where Mrs. Weaver will be laid to rest beside her husband.
