Pearl D. Mancuso, 79 of Allegan, died Friday, July 2, 2004 at Borgess Medical Center, Kalamazoo. Mrs. Mancuso was born February 3, 1925 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Alfred and Bertha (Wendtland) Duncan. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and the Disabled American Veterans Ladies Auxiliary of Holland. She was a loving mother and grandmother who made her family a priority. She enjoyed sewing, needlepoint and bingo. She loved shopping, especially at Wal-Mart, and spending winters in Florida. Surviving are 3 children, Albert Mancuso, Jr., Steven & Debra Mancuso, Debra & Ronald Farmer all of Allegan; 6 grandchildren, Cee-Jay, Anthony, Daniel and Meredith Mancuso, Tyler and Travis Farmer; 1 brother, Pryor & Sarah Duncan of Kalamazoo; 2 sisters-in-law, Dorothy Lickley and Rose Southard both of Allegan; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Sr. in 1991, 1 sister, Bernice Miller and 1 brother, Alfred "Bud" Duncan. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel,where a Rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday 11:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Allegan. Rev. Fr. Jerome M. Heyman, O.S.A. celebrant. Interment in the Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Allegan Sports Complex.
