of Allegan, died Saturday, May 23, 2015 at the Spectrum Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. Paula was born February 17, 1952, in Allegan, the daughter of the late Elton and Verna (Hotrum) Weaver. She graduated from Allegan High School, Class of 1970, and had worked for both the Allegan General Hospital, and the Allegan Medical Clinic for over 20 years. She loved to ride and care for horses, she was a member of the Allegan County Pleasure Riders for several years. Surviving are her husband: Nate; her son: Cory DeGroff; 2 grandchildren: Drake and Cadyn; her sister: Susie and Ben Woodhams; her mother-in-law: Gwen West; many nieces and nephews; and her riding buddies: Jackie Metz and Michelle Arthur. There will be a gathering of friends and family on Monday, June 1, 2015, starting at 1 pm, at the Silver Creek Horseman's Campground in Hamilton.
