Paula Kay (Parker) Born, 59 of Allegan, Michigan, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Born August 26, 1962 in Allegan, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late James and Juanita (White) Parker and the wife of Clarence Born. Paula was a woman who had a huge heart. She was a lifetime member of the River Church where she would put together the Power Point presentation for the Sunday services. She also spent time volunteering with the church's Food Truck and assisting those in need. Paula had a hard time telling anyone "no" and would do her best to be there for others, whether family, friends or strangers. Spending time doing arts and crafts, coloring rocks for the grandkids, and going to yard sales were some of Paula's favorite ways to spend her time. She loved being around her family and sharing herself with them. The feelings she had for them were enormous and each one of them felt the love she radiated. Along with her husband, Clarence, Paula was survived by her two sons, Danny (Apryl Patterson) Payne and David (Nicole) Strickfaden; her grandkids, Jace, Maxx, Karli, DJ, Braison and Cole; and her two siblings, Carol Mudd and Vicki Walker. Friends may meet with the family at the River Church on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at which time the funeral service will begin. Paula will be laid to rest in Hudson Corners Cemetery, Allegan Township. Memorial donations may be made in Paula's name to the River Church, 1652 Lincoln Road, Allegan, MI 49010.
