age 96, of Allegan, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Wings Home, Allegan. He was born August 9, 1917, the son of Mel and Nancy (Bolks) Lugtigheid. Paul was a long-time member and Elder of Dunningville Reformed Church, Allegan. He was a lifetime member of Allegan Masonic Lodge #111. He retired from Rockwell in 1975, having worked there for 34 years. Paul loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed many trips to the Upper Peninsula, specifically to Camp Seven Lake. Most importantly, family was first to Paul. Paul is survived by his daughter Carolyn (Ronald) Remington; his grandson Steven (Nancy) Remington from Minneapolis, Minnesota; his great-grandchildren: Matthew, Sarah; and his nephew Rodney (Tippy). He is preceded in death by his wife Hildred; his sister Alma; and his grandson Todd. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 6-8:00 P.M. at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Friends may also visit with the family for an hour prior to the Funeral at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Dunningville Reformed Church, Allegan. Pastor Chris Timmer and Pastor Bruce Osbeck will be officiating. Interment will be at Brookside Cemetery, Heath Township, in the spring.
