of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, formerly of Allegan, died Sunday, February 17, 2013 at the Aurora Lakeland Medical Center. P.J. was born January 4, 1957, in Chicago, the son of Joseph and Elizabeth Reynolds James. He graduated from Allegan High School in 1975, and then traveled around the country as a entertainer, and the past ten years as a paint contractor. On February 11, 2005, in Montego Bay, Jamaica, Paul married the love of his life, Karen Ann Hintz who survives. Also surviving are his 2 children; Clay James, Sharidan DeVries, his mother, Elizabeth James, his 2 sisters; Julia and Rob Maxwell, Amelia and Dan Stephens, 3 brothers; Joseph and Kris James, Sylvester and Paulette Boyd, Charles and Renee Boyd, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph P. Sr., his brother, Anthony Boyd. Friends may meet with the family on Friday, February 22, from 12 noon till service time at 2 pm, at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Pastor G. Patrick White will officiate. Interment will be in Lindsley Cemetery, Cheshire Twp.
