Heath Twp., Allegan, MI, died Monday, December 22, 2008 at his home. Mr. Hooker was born October 5, 1937 in Grand Rapids, the son of Louis and June (Hunt) Hooker. He had been a truck driver for 20 years and loved the outdoors and fishing and hunting. Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Pamela (Crawford); 3 children, David (Cindy) Hooker, Debra (Larry) Cecil and Donald (Paula) Hooker; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, David (Patsy) Hooker and John (Mary Jo) Hooker; sisters, Jackie (Bill) Snyder, JoAnne King, Barbara Vertz, Judy (Gary) Root, and Pat (Fred) Parm; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Richard. According to Paul's wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends may meet with the family from 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, until time of memorial services at 2 p.m. at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Pastor Chad Nightingale officiating.
