Bloomingdale, MI, died Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at South Haven Community Hospital. Patrick was born February 12, 1993 in Allegan, the son of Sam & Kelly Bennington Sanders. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Paw Paw, and also attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Allegan. Patrick attended Dawson Elementary School in Allegan and had passed 5th grade. He loved his family, mom and dad, his sister, his grandparents and aunts and uncles. He also loved sports, he spent many hours with his dad "helping" coach both girls and boys basketball, he played football and loved to hunt, fish and play golf. Patrick's family participated in the Gift of Life Program, so that others may live. Surviving are his mother, Kelly Sanders of Bloomingdale; his dad, Sam Sanders of Allegan; sister, Samantha; grandparents, Ray "Sonny" and Pat Sanders of Allegan and Stephen and Raylene Bennington of Martin; several aunts and uncles. Friends may meet with the family Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Allegan. Rev. Fr.'s Jerome M. Heyman and Robert Creagan will co-celebrate. Interment Blessed Sacrament Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Allegan Sports Boosters or Dollars for Scholars.
