Patricia R. Hartman, age 73, of Allegan, MI, passed away peacefully on June 25th She was born on January 12, 1953, in Allegan, MI, to Raymond and Alice Armstrong, both formerly of Allegan.
Patricia was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She was deeply committed to her family and cherished her role as a caring and nurturing matriarch. Patricia’s warm heart and unwavering love for her family and friends will be remembered by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her children: Jennifer (Mark) Haveman, Becky (Corey) Johnson, Jim (Lisa) Hartman, and Vicki Hainer, as well as her son-in-law, Paul Hainer. She was a beloved sister to David (Lynn) Armstrong, Carrie (Mark) Jones, Dianne (Bernie) Whistler, Cindy (David) Davis, Paula (Richard) Hastings, sister-in-law to Dianne (Tim) Wilcox, and Sandy (Jerry) Hartman. Most of all Diane (Time) Wilcox, she was a proud grandmother to multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Hartman, as well as her son, Justin Woodhams, her daughter-in-law, Lynn Hartman, an infant grandson, Nicholas James Woodhams, her brother-in-law, Jerry Hartman. and her parents, Raymond and Alice Armstrong. She also joins many aunts, uncles, and other loved ones in eternal rest.
While Patricia’s presence will be greatly missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date. A memorial luncheon to celebrate Patricia’s life will take place on July 11th at the Trowbridge Township Hall from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Wings of Hope, Allegan, in her memory.
