Patricia Marie (Weiler) Anderson, 68, of Allegan, MI passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026. Born August 10, 1957 in Pontiac, MI, she was the daughter of Patricia Ann (Sulllivan) Weiler and the late John Francis Weiler. Patricia was married to Christopher E. Anderson for thirty-six years, and together they had two children, Katherine and Benjamin.
Just prior to graduating from high school in Mason, MI, she began working for an insurance company through a school work program. Patricia eventually transitioned into an insurance adjuster and later became a licensed paraprofessional in the Allegan Public School system, where she was involved in all grade levels throughout the last two decades. Patricia was a longtime, active member of the Allegan United Methodist Church.
Patricia and her family took many camping trips throughout the United States and Canada. She enjoyed spending time on Lake Michigan at the family cottage, making homemade jams and jellies and singing with her sisters. Patricia was a skilled seamstress, fixing uniforms and costumes for high school plays, bands and choirs. She was a Girl Scout Troop Leader for her daughter.
In addition to Christopher, her husband, Patricia is survived by her mother, Pat; her children Katie (Zach) Yoder and her first grandchild Elizabeth Ann Yoder, and Ben Anderson and his fiancée Jessica Myers; siblings Susan (Joseph) Mercurio and their children, Anna, Anthony and Joseph; Antionette Holtz, and Phillip Weiler. Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, John Holtz.
A memorial service will take place at Allegan United Methodist Church on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 3:00 PM with visitation for one hour prior. Memorial contributions may be made by buying a child you know a book.
