Pamela Rae Cuperus (Funk), 67, of Hudsonville, MI passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at her home with her family at her side. Born September 9, 1951 in Grand Rapids, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Dorothy (Wolf) Snoeyink and was the wife of Larry John Cuperus. Pamela had worked for Hopkins Public Schools for fourteen years prior to retirement. Although retired, she was not the type to slow down. Pamela filled her spare time with trips to the casino, working in her yard as well as a multitude of different projects and hobbies. In addition to her husband, Larry, Pamela is survived by her children, Stephanie (Joe) Ruel, Corey (Shara) Funk, and Marcia Funk; stepchildren, Cheryl (Jim) Porter, Trecia Cuperus and Jodi (Kevin) Jenkins; five grandchildren, Jackie, Jarred, Sadie, Kaitlyn and Marlee; three great-grandchildren, Aaliyah, Ryder and Harlow; twelve step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Tony Funk. Special thanks is extended to the staff of Emmanuel Hospice for the dedication and compassionate care provided to Pamela and her family. The family will receive friends at Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel, on Monday, July 1, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
