of Allegan, went to be with her Lord, Saturday, February 5, 2011 at the Allegan Country Estates, at the age of 90. Orpha was born September 18, 1920, in Kalamazoo Twp., the daughter of William and Orpha (Bash) Piffer. She graduated from Paw Paw High School and had worked for over 10 years with the U.S.D.A. in Allegan. She attended the First Baptist Church. Surviving are her 2 children, Judy and Charles Wood of Caledonia, and Nickolas and Judith Jordan of Allegan, 4 grandchildren; Debbie and Doug Spencer, Kathy and David Jacobs, Sarah and Ryan Johnson and Seth and Sarah Jordan, 9 great grandchildren; Amanda and Cole Nuyen, Laura, Emily, Ian, Eric, Bethany, Abbey, Noah, and Ariana, 1 great great grandson, Landon Nuyen, 2 sisters; Ruth Schuster of Lawton and Betty Pierman of Kalamazoo, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth and several brothers and sisters. Friends may meet with the family on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, for 1 hour prior to the service at 2 pm. Pastor Greg Carlson will officiate.
