Norma Jeanine Cerveny, 73, of Allegan, MI passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at her home surrounded by family.  Born October 29, 1949 in South Haven, MI, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Leroy and Virginia Margretta (Copeland) McNees and was the wife of Leroy Charles Cerveny.  Norma had worked for Tru Heat in Allegan and had owned and operated her own daycare.  She loved watching and caring for all the wildlife around the property she shared with Leroy, especially the deer and the birds.  Norma even raised a few raccoons and opossums that needed a helping hand over the years.

In addition to Leroy, her husband of thirty-three years, she is survived by her son, Robert Haas and his longtime companion, Ronda Breed; and her sisters, Clara Meade and husband, Gary and Kathy Fry and husband, Roger.  Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Virginia; and her brother, Randy McNees.

The family will receive friends at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.  Family and friends will process to Hudson Corners Cemetery at 11:00 AM where Norma will be laid to rest following a graveside memorial service.
