of Allegan, died Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at Metro Health Hospital, in Wyoming, Michigan. Mrs. Donaldson was born December 16, 1936, in Quincy, Michigan, the daughter of Ross and Mildred (Cooper) Smith. Norma was a member of the First Congregational Church, and volunteered her time to the Allegan Community, at the Allegan General Hospital, as well as the Voting Poles in Allegan. Surviving are her 2 children: Lynn Donaldson and her companion, Jim Lewis; Bert Donaldson; 3 grandchildren: Deidre, Paul, Taylor; 2 brothers: Fred and Janet Smith, and David and Mary Smith, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: Bert, in January of 2015; her 3 brothers: Doug, Duane and Ken. Friends may meet with the family on Friday, March 13, 2015, from 12 noon till 2 pm, at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where the Memorial Service will be held at 2 pm. Pastor Barry Lucas will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Congregational Kitchen, 323 Cutler St., Allegan, MI 49010. Private interment will take place in Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan.
