Norma Boynton, Allegan, died Sunday, February 25, 2007 at the Allegan General Hospital. Mrs. Boynton was born December 26, 1921 in Hopkins, the daughter of Dean & Addie (Barnum) Green. Norma graduated from Wayland High School in 1940. On June 6, 1942 in Battle Creek, Norma married Richard Boynton who preceded her in death. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Allegan and had worked for the Allegan County Dept. of Social Services for 25 years. Surviving are her 4 children, Melanie & Donald Pletcher of Williamston, Janice & Robert Green of Kalamazoo, Rick & Tracy Boynton and Fern & Don Gunderson all of Allegan, 5 grandchildren, Brian, Laura, Greg, D.L. and Andy, 4 great grandchildren, Cameron, Connor, Branden and Audrey. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday at 11 am at the United Methodist Church in Allegan. Pastor Joseph Spackman will officiate. Interment Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan. Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church. Arrangements by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
