Watson Twp., Hopkins, MI, died Sunday, July 10, 2005 at her home. Mrs. McLaughlin was born January 11, 1911 in Allegan, MI, the daughter of Alva and Bertha Miner. She was a life member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Watson Twp. Surviving are 2 children, Theodore "Ted" (Sally) McLaughlin of Allegan and Beverly Mead of Middleville; 4 grandchildren, Jeff Mead, Tim (Lorie) Mead, Rosemary (Troy) McKenney and Brian (Nikki) McLaughlin; 6 great grandchildren, Chase, Brandon, Brittney, Brianna, Alyssa and Lindsey; 1 brother-in-law, Ken (Betty) McLaughlin of Otsego; 1 sister-in-law, Esther Draper of Muskegon; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Friends may meet with the family from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel, where a Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Robert Johansen Celebrant. Interment in the Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice.
