Cheshire Twp., Allegan, MI, died Friday, March 11, 2005 at Metron of Allegan. Mrs. Bares was born July 29, 1908 in Cheshire Twp., the daughter of Ralph and Winnie (McMahan) Busfield. Mrs. Bares attended Merson Church for many years and was active in the 50+ Club, she had also attended Allegan Bible Church and Lawrence Bible Church. She was a member of the Lindsley 4-H Club and the Cheshire Extension Club. She had been employed at the Draft Board for 6 years, had been a teacher for many years in the country schools, and had been employed at Farmers Home Administration/Agriculture Dept. for 30 years, retiring in 1969. Surviving are 1 daughter and her husband, Donna and Pastor Don Miller of Allegan; 2 granddaughters and their husbands, Tammy and Joe Ehlert and Becky and Mark Kreger; 4 great-grandchildren, Jacob, Katelynn, Sydney, and Drew; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 8 brothers and sisters. Friends may meet with the family from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, www.gordenfuneral.com, where funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. Pastor Don Miller officiating.
