Nicole Christian Hildebrand, 8 of Martin died Monday, July 29, 2002 at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Campus. Nicole was born December 8, 1993 in Allegan, MI the daughter of Timothy and Carol (Jarvis) Hildebrand. She had attended Brandon Elementary School in Martin where she had completed the 2nd grade. Nicole loved life and touched everyone she came in contact with. She enjoyed drawing and loved animals, and one day had hoped to be a veterinarian. She had attended St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hopkins where she was recently baptized. Surviving are her parents, Tim and Carol; 2 brothers, Joshua and Richard; her grandparents, Katherine Hildebrand, Dave & Patti Jarvis all of Martin, and Don & Barb Hamilton of Deming, NM; her dog and cat, Ralphy and Cinder; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8pm and Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel. The funeral service will be held Friday 11:00 am at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Hopkins. Pastor Donald W. Seelhoff officiating. Interment South Martin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Blodgett-Butterworth Foundation at the Devos Children's Hospital, 100 Michigan St. NE, Mail Code #4, Grand Rapids, MI 49503.
