Allegan, MI, died Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at her home. Mrs. Thompson was born Dec. 19, 1914 in Monterey Twp., the daughter of Joseph and Lenora (Sark) Caywood. She was a member of the Allegan First Baptist Church. Surviving are 1 son, Brent Lorback of Texas; 1 step-daughter, Shirley Thompson of Otsego; 3 grandchildren, Diana and Rod Terpstra, Laurie and Gary Wray, and Terri Lorback, all of Allegan; 9 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Helen Culver of Plainwell; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter. Friends may meet with the family at the First Baptist Church from 2 p.m. Saturday, until time of service at 3 p.m. Pastor Greg Carlson officiating. Interment Poplar Hill Cemetery, Monterey Twp., MI. Memorial contributions may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice. Arrangements by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
