of Allegan, died Friday, November 30, 2012 at her home. Nellie was born August 29, 1923 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of William and Leda (Gould) Arthur. Nellie was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her children, her home, cooking and celebrating the holidays. She also enjoyed camping at her son's campground. Nellie was very proud of having accomplished her high school diploma after her children were grown and on their own. Nellie was an excellent house painter as well as an outstanding seamstress. She is survived by her children: Dawn Chrispell, James Miller, and Steve Miller; her five grandchildren: Courtney, William, Todd, Duncan, and Tracey; her five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Nellie is preceded in death by her husband William H., whom she was married for 65 years; two brothers: William and Robert Arthur; two sisters: Dorothy Poole, and Jean Chipman; Her Daughter-in-law Stephanie Miller. Friends may meet with the family at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, on Monday, December 3, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral at 11:00 A.M.
