Neal Jay Stevenson, 86, of Hopkins, MI passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at Wings Home in Allegan.  Born October 18, 1938 in Grandville,  he was the son of the late Harold and Margarete (Howarth) Stevenson and was the husband of Joan Yvonne Marshall.  Neal enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing and camping.

In addition to his wife of over sixty-nine years, he is survived by his children, Neal (June) Stevenson, Jr., Walter Stevenson and Suzanne (Dean) Parker; brother, Max Stevenson; eleven grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.  Along with his parents, Neal was preceded in death by his son, Brian Stevenson; brother, Robert Stevenson; infant brother, Harold Stevenson, Jr.; and sister-in-law, Barb Stevenson.

The family will receive friends at Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel, on Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.  A funeral service will  begin at 11:00 AM.  Neal will be laid to rest in Miner Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wings Home, 530 Linn Street, Allegan, MI 49010.
