of Allegan, died Monday, July 13, 2015, at the Bronson Methodist Hospital. Mr. West was born January 16, 1954, in Allegan, the son of Harold and Gwen (Henry) West. Nate was skilled at maintaining and fixing almost anything. He worked for over 27 years at Rapa Electric in Allegan. He shot skeet at Fennville Rod and Gun Club for many years. Nate was a 33 degree Mason. He also gave the Gift of Life, so others may live. Surviving are his son: Cory DeGroff; 2 grandchildren: Drake and Cadyn; his mother: Gwen West; 4 brothers: John, Robert, Benjamin, and Timothy; his sister: Teresa Anzaldua; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He will be missed by many. He was preceded in death by his wife, Paula; his dad, Harold; his niece, Nadine. A private gathering will be held at a later date.
