Allegan, MI, died Friday, November 27, 2009 at the Allegan General Hospital. Nadine was born July 28, 1921 in Allegan, the daughter of Howard and Carlotta (Allen) Peabody. She had been a custodian for the Allegan Public Schools for many years. Surviving are 1 son and his wife, Lyle and Lora Whisler, Jr., of Plainwell; 7 grandchildren, Eric and Stacey Emmons, Mark and Kim Emmons, Kelly and Jim Green, Stacey and Ron Dekema, Wade Whisler, Megan Whisler, and Autumn and Greg McKeown; 2 brothers and 1 sister, Bud Peabody, Don Peabody and Darlene Koch, all of Washington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle, daughter, Diane Emmons, brother, Ted Peabody, and sister, Patsy Brown. Cremation has taken place. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 2, at 11 a.m. at Mallory Cemetery, Trowbridge Twp., Pastor Dave Armstrong officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice.
