Nancy Louise (Freeland) Bos, aged 89, of Wayland passed away Mon., January 17, 2022. Daughter of Russell and Marian Freeland; born and raised in Grand Rapids graduating from South HS and moved to Wayland in 1972. Her husband Don Bos passed away in 2018. She was an attentive mother and grandmother and worked most of her life; first, as a Michigan Bell Telephone operator in Grand Rapids and retiring as the cook at Sandy Creek Nursing Home in Wayland. She is survived by her five children and their partners Don and Alicia (Márquez) Bos of Austin (TX), Sandy and Brian Larsen of Wayland, Michael and Dawn (Kerley) Bos of Wayland, Cathy Bos and Ruth Terpstra of Hopkins Twp, and Mary and Rob Griffith of Wayland Twp; her first cousin Carol (White) Hendershot of Rockford; eleven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Visitation at Gorden Funeral Residence in Hopkins from 6-8 pm on Sat., January 22; Interment in Rest Lawn Cemetery, 3448 Eastern Ave., Grand Rapids.
