Nancy L. Locatis, of Allegan, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo, Michigan. Mrs. Locatis was born April 1, 1937 in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Willie Earl and Shirley (Burke) Conley. After receiving her associate's degree, she worked as a legal secretary for over 29 years. On October 27, 1962, Nancy married her true love, Thomas, and together went on to raise 4 boys. She was the co-founder of the Allegan County Snowmobile Club. Two of her favorite hobbies were bowling and painting. What truly brought joy to her life though, were her grandchildren. She absolutely loved them and being a part of their lives. Her presence will be truly missed. Nancy is survived by her children: Tim and Kathy, Todd and Sammy, Roderic and Marcy, Rick and Christy; 6 grandchildren: Megan, Franklin, Ellie, Zoie, Anthony and Logan; her sister, Helen Setter and her 2 brothers, Jim and Bob Conley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas and 2 sisters, Billie Jensen and Ann Wright. A Celebration of Life for Nancy will be held on May 6th at 3:00 PM at the Allegan County Snowmobile Club (1697 36th Street, Allegan, MI 49010). Please note that the Snowmobile Club is opening specifically for this occasion and does not have regular business hours, so any deliveries would have to be coordinated through a family member.
