Morgan Dean Cyrus, 61 of Allegan, Michigan, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Born July 15, 1959 in Allegan, Michigan, he was the son of the late James Maxwell Cyrus and Bonnie Jean (Clark) Cyrus. Morgan graduated from Allegan High School and went on to obtain a cosmetology certificate. His many jobs included hairstyling, working on fixing up homes/apartments, working at Haworth in Allegan and long-distance truck driving. He enjoyed watching movies, playing chess and watching the various birds outside his windows. After living at Baseline and Pike Lakes, he developed a love for being near water, whether it be inland lakes or Lake Michigan. Morgan was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Karen; and his aunts and uncle. He is survived by his brother, James; stepmother, Nancy (Cyrus) West; his cousins; and special caring lady in his life, Darlene. Cremation has taken place and a graveside memorial service will be held on Monday, July 19, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Hudson Corners Cemetery, Allegan Township.
