Millard V. "Butch" Myers, age 69 of Allegan, Michigan passed away Monday, February 18, 2019. Born March 1, 1949 in Allegan, Michigan, he was the son of Hope (Ashley) Myers and the late Vernon Myers and the husband of Jacqueline (DeMull) Myers. Over the past 40 years, Butch owned and operated Myers Bumper to Bumper auto parts and repair shop and was well known in the community for his car expertise and dry sense of humor. He served as a past president for the Allegan Elks and enjoyed the many relationships made through the organization. Butch always anticipated springtime so that he could get out and search for those elusive mushrooms as well as practice his golf swing. Butch and Jackie were married for 48 years and together raised three children and were grandparents to four grandchildren. Life around their place was never dull and they enjoyed times spent with their family and friends. Butch's quick wit and sense of humor will be missed by many, not to mention his kind heart. Butch leaves behind his loving wife, Jackie; their three children, Rachel (Mike) Hill, Matt (Laurie) Myers and Nathan Myers; three grandchildren, Ethan Hill, Elizabeth Hill and Lucas Myers; five siblings, Jerry (Char) Myers, Nancy (Alan) Nausbaum, Kenny Myers, Melinda Myers and David Myers. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Brady Hill. Friends may meet with the family on Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at The Bridge (247 N. Main St., Allegan, MI 49010) and on Friday, February 22, 2019 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM with the Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 AM, Roger Bird officiating. Memorial donations may be made in Butch's name to the Allegan Fire Department (300 Monroe St., Allegan, MI 49010). Burial will take place at Hudson Corners Cemetery. Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, are assisting the family with arrangements. Service Details.
