Mildred Whitcomb, 97 of Allegan, Michigan, passed away on January 8, 2021 at Wings Home in Allegan, Michigan. Mildred was born August 11, 1923, the daughter of Herman and Rhea (Hackett) Zimmerman, both of whom preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Bill Whitcomb; brother, Nelson Zimmerman; and sister, Muriel (Alexander) Zimmerman. Surviving is her son, Steve Whitcomb; brother, Herman and wife Janis Zimmerman; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mildred graduated Allegan High School and was in the class of 1941. She was a lifetime member at both the Episcopal Church since 1955 and the Lady Elks Club. Mildred retired from A&P after 15 faithful years in 1985, she would then manage and run the Family Rental Business until she passed. A graveside service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Allegan, Michigan, on January 13, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Memorial donations may be made to the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd (101 Walnut St., Allegan, MI 49010) or a charity of one's choice.
