age 57, of Allegan, passed away Monday, January 4, 2016 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Mr. Morse was born in Columbus, OH on March 7, 1958, the son of Douglas E. and Joan E. (Perry) Morse. Michael was a 1976 graduate of Shawnee Mission South High School in Overland Park, Kansas. His working career consisted of 10 years at Sunflower Army Ammunition Plant in Kansas; 15 years at Cytec Industries in Kalamazoo; and 6 years at Perrigo Company, Plant 4 in Allegan. Michael cherished his time with his family and thoroughly enjoyed being a father and grandfather. His children looked up to him and considered him not only a great man, but a wonderful friend as well. He will truly be missed here on earth, but for many that knew him, a smile comes to mind thinking that he is possibly driving his Trans Am up in heaven. Michael is survived by his two children: Tyler M. Morse and Sam Morse; one granddaughter: Allex; one brother: David (Rhonda); two sisters: Janine and Denise; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Per Michael's wishes, no visitation or service will be held.
