of Allegan, died Friday, July 30, 2010 at the Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. Mr. Koetsier was born December 19, 1968 in Holland, the son of Paul and Donna (DeKoster) Koetsier. Michael was a graduate of Allegan High School Class of 1987, he had been employed with Besser Holland for over 13 years. Michael loved his family and had many friends, he enjoyed old cars and cruising, and loved to laugh. Surviving are his wife, Brenda, his children, Nathan, Cassidy and Gavin, his father, Paul Koetsier of Allegan, his mother, Donna Koetsier of TN, 2 brothers, Rob Koetsier of Holland and John and Kelly Koetsier of Plainwell, his grandfather, Russell Koetsier of Zeeland. Friends may meet with the family on Monday from 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Private graveside services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Michael's son Nathan, C/O Brenda Koetsier.
