Michael D. Draney, 55 of Allegan, passed away at his home on January 8, 2018. He was born on May 30, 1962 in Allegan, the son of Georgia Ann Bellingar and Jerry Draney. Mike graduated from Allegan High School, Class of 1980. He lived in Grand Rapids for 20 years, working for Pizza Hut and Vitale's Sports Bar. Then he moved back to Allegan and worked at Little Caesars. Mike loved rock and roll and writing. He leaves behind two sons, Sebastian and Tristan Draney. Mike is survived by his sons, Sebastian Draney (Allegan) and Tristan Draney (Grand Rapids); parents, Georgia Ann and Jerry Draney (Allegan); brother, Chris (Marina) Draney (Lansing); sisters, Cindy (Wes) Gaddis (Lexington, NC), Tammy (Donald) Oetman (Allegan); 4 nieces, 12 nephews, 3 great-nieces, 9 great-nephews and best friend, Theresa Hannah Woods. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 6-10 PM at the Allegan VFW Post.
