died Saturday, June 25, 2005 at his home. Mr. Knobloch was born August 16, 1930, in Hopkins, the son of Levi & Gladys (Shaw) Knobloch. Knobby graduated from Allegan High School in 1948 and attended Michigan State University. On July 27, 1951 he married Sharon Hewitt, who survives. He was a life member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hopkins, a Veteran of the United States Army, and past member of the Allegan J.C's. He worked for Delano Printing for more than 34 years, retiring in 1993. Knobby loved Allegan Athletics, he spent many hours cheering our teams on, many said he was Allegan's #1 fan, he will be sadly missed in the stands. Also surviving are his children, Linda and Fritz Spreitzer, Mike Knobloch, and Scott and Shelly Knobloch all of Allegan; 5 grandchildren, Renae & Jeff Morrie, Erica Soderquist, and her fiancee Doug Mandrick, Autumn, Mandy and Holly; 1 great grandson, Caleb; 1 brother, Peter and Karon Knobloch of Allegan; 1 sister, Marg & Norm Gras of Holland; several nieces and nephews. Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hopkins. Pastor Donald W. Seelhoff will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to the St. Paul's Church or the Allegan Sports Boosters.
