Allegan, MI, went to be with her Heavenly Father, Sunday, October 14, 2007, with her mom and dad there to give her into God's hands. Melinda was born April 17, 1963 in Lansing, the daughter of Clarence and Yvonne Franks. Surviving are her parents, Bruce and Stella Kolhoff of Allegan; many brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Tiffany and Barbara. Private family services were held at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Pastor Ron Bessert from Immanuel Lutheran Church officiated.
