Allegan, MI, formerly of Wayland, died Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at Metron of Allegan. Mrs. Truax was born March 30, 1921 in Eaton Rapids, the daughter of Asa and Addie (Brimingstoll) Mudgett. She had been employed at Sandy Creek Nursing Home in Wayland for 10 years. Surviving are 2 children, Robert and Diana Truax of Hopkins and Vickie Truax and Tim Larsen of Allegan; 2 grandchildren, Kelly Truax and Ashley Truax, both of Hopkins; 1 great granddaughter, Jayden; 2 sisters, Bernice Tryon of Newaygo and Jean Haney of Kentwood; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Russell C. in 1958, and 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Friends may meet with the family from 1 p.m. Saturday until time of memorial service at 2 p.m. at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Pastor Joseph Spackman officiating.
