Obituary

of Allegan, went to be with her Lord, Thursday, April 9, 2009. Mrs. Spaman was born June 25, 1925 in Valley Twp., the daughter of Dennis and Anna (Pomp) Nyhuis. Maxine was a member of the Dunningville Reformed Church for many years. Surviving are her 2 children, Ken and Jane Spaman of Rockford and Tom and Linda Spaman of Moline; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; her sister, Lavina and Harry Sammons of MO; 1 brother-in-law, John and Betty Spaman of Hamilton; 1 sister-in-law, Tempie Spaman of FL; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Hollis, and her son Bill. Friends may meet with the family on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Dunningville Reformed Church. Pastor Tim Tenclay will officiate. Interment Dunningville Cemetery, Heath Twp. Memorials may be made to the Dunningville Church Building Fund.
