Mavis B. Querbach, 88, formerly of Allegan, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. Mrs. Querbach was born November 20, 1928 in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, the daughter of the late Ernest and Vera (Edmonds) Hagerman. Mavis assisted her husband at their business, Querbach Cleaners. She also volunteered at Allegan General Hospital in the Coffee Shop. She was a member and a Sunday school teacher of the First Baptist Church of Allegan. Mavis was kind hearted and always very helpful to those in need. She had a deep love for her family and friends and was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Mavis is survived by her daughter, Lori Yonkman and her son, Craig Querbach; her six grandchildren, Jason, Anson, Chaston, Jenny, Mandi and Sonny; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex; daughter, Diana; one sister and six brothers. A Gathering will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2017 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Private interment will take place at Hudson Corners Cemetery, Allegan Township.
