of Allegan, Michigan, died Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at her home. Mrs. Polmanteer was born September 25, 1944 in Owosso Twp., the daughter of Harold and Charlotte (Devers) Mulligan. She was a member of the Chicora Country Chapel and had worked at the Allegan County Medical Care Facility as a nurse's aide for more than 15 years. She also volunteered many hours as a teacher's aide with the Head Start Program. Surviving are 4 children, Annette and Ronald Davies of Detroit, Patty Crisman, Brenda and Patrick Riley and Michael Polmanteer, all of Allegan; 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Patrick and Mary Jane Mulligan of Muskegon; 3 sisters, Marilyn Schultz and Stella Griffiths both of Elsie and Sally Morgan of Lakeview, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan, 3 brothers, John, Harold and Jerry, and 4 sisters, Geraldine, Rosilee, Dianna and Myrtle. Friends may meet with the family from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. Pastor Herb Curry officiating. Interment Lindsley Cemetery, Cheshire Twp. Memorials may be made to the Chicora Country Chapel.
