Mary Louise (Lemoin) Gates, 88, of Allegan, MI passed away Monday, June 25, 2018 at Vicinia Gardens. Born June 10, 1930 in Allegan, she was the daughter of the late Miles Dewey and Ella Louise (Davis) Lemoin. Ms. Gates worked for the State of Michigan as a Child Support Specialist for over thirty years. She is survived by her four children, David (Jan) Gates, Dan (Irene) Gates, Cathy (Sherwin) Moored and Mary Ann Davis; a sister, Margaret Leber; niece, Theresa (Mark) Ashley; nephew, Rick (Leslie) Leber; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many friends and extended family members. The family will receive friends at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 11:00 AM with interment to follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Vicinia Gardens for their kind and compassionate care during Ms. Gates stay. They request memorial donations to Vicinia Gardens, so they may continue to provide wonderful care to residents and their families. Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, is assisting the family with arrangements.
