Wayland, MI, died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2003 at the Laurels of Sandy Creek. Mrs. Laws was born Aug. 29, 1920 in Roanoke, VA, the daughter of Peter and Mary (Ducan) VanMiller. Surviving are 3 children, Patricia (Wymond) Wilds of Hawaii, Johnny Laws, and Annie Laws, both of Grand Rapids; 7 granddaughters; 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles. There will be no services. Interment will take place in Hawaii.
