Heath Twp., Allegan, MI, died Friday, October 23, 2009 at Spectrum Hospital, Blodgett Campus, Grand Rapids surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Hedberg was born January 19, 1948 in Battle Creek, the daughter of Dale and Caterina (Billi) Kenworthy. She was a member of Sunrise Ministries in Hudsonville and had also been a member of the Allegan First Congregational Church for most of her life. She was the executive director of the Chamber of Commerce, was co-owner of "Glitzed!" and had been very active in a number of Allegan Community organizations, as well as being co-editor of Star Magazine. She was very close to her family and attended all the grandchildren's activities. Surviving are 2 children, Cathleen Hamlyn and Fred Miller of Hopkins and Dale and Ana Hedberg of Allegan; parents, Dale and Caterina Kenworthy of Alabama; fiancAC., Bob Berens of Hamilton; 5 grandchildren, Charles Vernon Miller, Elizabeth Hamlyn Miller, Levi Vernon Hedberg, Asher Vernon Hedberg and Vanessa Maria Hedberg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Hamlyn Hedberg. Friends may meet with the family from 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. Pastors David and Timothy Breen and Mr. Comer Skinner officiating. Private family interment at Poplar Hill Cemetery, Monterey Twp.
