of Allegan, died on Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Ely Manor in Allegan. Mary was born February 8, 1937, in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Owen and Rosa (Pierce) Pathic. She graduated from Otsego High School in 1978. Mary was a member of the Christ Community Church, she worked for over 15 years at Parker Hannifen in Otsego. Mary had a liver transplant at the University of Michigan 20 years ago, and was the longest living survivor in Michigan. Surviving are her 4 children; Rick and Gena Brabon, Steve and Robin Brabon, Theresa Brabon, Sheila and Reggie Kelley, 2 step children; Melvin and Brenda Fargo, Tom and Connie Fargo, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, her brother, Richard Pathic, 2 sisters, Evelyn Williams and Pat Goff, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, George, brother, Owen Jr. and her sister, Beverly. Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday, April 24, from 1 pm till service time at 3 pm at the Christ Community Church, Pastor G. Patrick White will officiate. Interment Mallory Cemetery, Trowbridge Twp. Memorials may be made to the Christ Community Church or Wings of Hope Hospice. Arrangements by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
