Mary Ann Boreczky, 91, died Wednesday, February 1, 2023 in Allegan, Michigan.  She was a native of Chicago, Illinois and retired to Brevard in 1990 and moved to Michigan in 2006.

Preceding her in death were her parents, John and Angela Boreczky; brothers, Rev. John, Frank and Vincent Boreczky; nephew, Vincent Mark Borecky; and great-nephew, Paul Xavier Boreczky.  Surviving are her nephews, Paul (Connie), John (Kristine Konrad); niece-in-law, Maureen Boreczky; sister-in-law, Virginia Boreczky; great-nephews, Andrew (Teri) and Zachary (Karissa) Evans, Neil, Chance, Jack and Luke Boreczky; great-great-nieces, Brooke and Bree Evans; and great-great-nephews, Chance and Skyler Evans.

She was a graduate of St. Xavier University, Chicago; Teachers' College, Columbia University, New York and a primary school teacher in the Chicago Public and Archdiocesan Schools.

A Memorial Mass will be offered at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Allegan, Michigan on Monday, March 20, 2023 at 9:00 AM.  Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, is assisting the family with arrangements.
